Alan on BH roof garden. It was about this time that I had one funny incident. I was leaving BH on a Saturday night after close down of BBC1 and I was making my way to my car in Hallam Street when some fans of John Peel (who would have been doing his program from BH at the time) came running after me thinking I was he. After all it was dark. When I said I wasn't him they asked me what he looked like. I said he had a round face and close cut beard. Not that I really knew.
